There's still time to register for the statewide full-day Housing Summit on Wednesday, October 13 in Arlington. VHFA will join other experts in sharing case studies and best practices to promote affordable housing development. Municipal officials, housing developers, nonprofits, legislators and anyone having an interest in supporting the development of quality housing is encouraged to attended. Another community housing forum will take place in Essex on Wednesday, October 27. VHFA Executive Director Maura Collins will join Essex's State Representatives, Seth Jensen, the Deputy Director of Lamoille County Planning Commission, and members of the Essex Housing Commission to discuss affordable housing initiatives in Vermont. The event will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, both in person at the Essex Police Department at 145 Maple St, Essex Junction or virtually on Zoom. Registration is required for both.
