CDP Approved Fair Housing Trainings

Tara Brown of Hinesburg, VT has joined VHFA as Loan Servicing Assistant.

Tara comes to VHFA from Dwight Asset Management Company, LLC where she worked as Executive Assistant for the past 10 years. Tara has a BA from the State University of New York at Stonybrook.

On Thursday January 10^th, the mortgage industry braced for rulings from the United State’s newest federal agency related to home lending, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).  In his opening statement announcing the newest rules, CFPB’s Director, Richard Cordray said "Today, we’re issuing one of our most important rules to date, the Ability-to-Repay rule.

Hours before Governor Shumlin delivered his second inaugural address last week, Vermonters combating homelessness gathered on the Statehouse steps in Montpelier. One participant held up a sign that read “Housing:  Take the ‘less’ out of ‘homeless’".
