VHFA's community and funding partners are vital to its impact.
VHFA serves as a coordinator, supporter and information resource for housing organizations and policy makers in Vermont. If an initiative is consistent with VHFA's mission, we support it through our programs, guidance to policy makers, and housing research.
Every two years, VHFA convenes the Vermont Statewide Housing Conference which draws nearly 500 policy makers, housing developers, lenders and advocates. Participants hear from national and state leaders about the state’s most pressing housing issues.
We also use our expertise and affordable housing commitment to research and share the latest information available on today's pressing housing issues. This work ranges from managing the Vermont Housing Data website and conducting housing market analyses for Vermont-based organizations to sharing the best resources we know of for affordable housing advocates.
