The Vermont Council on Rural Development (VCRD) invites you to join with hundreds of Vermonters at the Summit on the Future of Vermont.
The summit will unveil the findings of the Council on the Future of Vermont’s ubiquitous statewide conversation on the values, goals, and priorities of Vermonters as they look to address the challenges and opportunities ahead.
It'll take place at UVM's Dudley Davis Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 11. $40, includes lunch. Registration required.
A special evening session starts at 7 p.m. at UVM's Ira Allen Chapel: "Building Strategic Vision & Implementing It! Stories of Successful Leadership." Speakers will include Dr. Garrett FitzGerald, former Prime Minister of Ireland, and Gov. John Baldacci (invited) of Maine. There's no charge for the evening session, and no pre-registration required.
But before all that, join the council for the public release of its report. That takes place at the Statehouse in Montpelier, April 9 at 9 a.m.
