New VHFA stationery gets greener

By VHFA

Truth be known, VHFA's stationery has been green for as long as just about anyone can remember. But soon it'll be "green," as in "environmentally-friendly."

Starting with our next print run, VHFA letterhead, envelopes and business cards will be printed using vegetable-based inks on paper stock composed of 100% post-consumer waste (PCW).

We use vegetable-based inks on nearly everything we print at the Agency — and our existing letterhead is no exception. Vegetable-based inks are more earth-friendly than their petroleum-based counterparts.

But the move to a new paper stock — Rolland Enviro 100, in case you're wondering — will greatly increase the recycled content of our letterhead: from 20% to 100% PCW.

The move has the added benefit of saving us money: an approximate 60% savings over our previous stationery.

The new stationery, printed locally in Burlington, will sport a new design as well, but don't worry. It's still the same gang at 164 Saint Paul Street behind that letter.
