After 29 years at VHFA, Sue Joachim decided to retire from her post in the finance department.
Sue played several finance roles while at VHFA, most recently serving as its Accounting Specialist, focusing on accounts payable, cash receipts, and other responsibilities.
VHFA sent Sue off in the agency’s traditional style, with a staff celebration, delicious food and an ode from agency lyricist, Sam Falzone.
Sue explained that she is looking forward to spending more time with her husband, John, who retired six years earlier and has been waiting patiently for her to join him in the next phase of their lives.
