Last year the Sara Holbrook Youth Center served 51 preschool and elementary children and 600 teens through playgroups and direct advocacy. Throughout their various community programs, the Sara Holbrook Youth Center helped over 650 children.

Mitten drive to keep little hands warm this winter
It’s time for VHFA’s annual mitten drive. This year we are collecting mittens for Burlington’s Women Helping Battered Women and we need your help. Donations of new mittens and gloves to our office on the corner of King and St. Paul Streets in Burlington are heartily welcome any time before Monday, December 16. Waterproof gloves and mittens are especially appreciated.

Mittens stuffed with holiday cheer for neighbors at King Street Center
VHFA-ers made a special delivery before closing the office for the holidays. Agency elves stuffed 88 pairs of mittens, gloves and hats with goodies for children and families at Burlington's King Street Center. Most outerwear was donated by VHFA staff and community members. More mittens were donated through VHFA's festive Facebook "Like" challenge.
