VHFA has partnered with the American Heart Association for Start! — a physical activity initiative to fight heart disease and stroke through workplace walking programs.

Now through June 25, staff members will be able to track their physical activity online. The Agency will also set goals for staff to try and meet as a team.

As planning for the 2010 Vermont Statewide Housing Conference continues, we've turned our attention to the educational workshops. We've been monitoring the news, the State House, Congress, and local communities to find great topics that will be of interest to the diverse audience we expect that day. There is a tremendous line up drafted, but we need more!

VHFA Policy and Planning Manager Maura Collins will teach a graduate-level housing policy course at the University of Vermont in Burlington.
