Affordable Rental Housing ACTION has reached 100 signed supporters.

The Washington, D.C.-based campaign to stimulate investment in affordable rental housing reached the milestone today.

Gov. Jim Douglas has appointed Tayt Brooks Commissioner of the Department of Housing, Economic and Community Development (DHECD).

Brooks had been Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Housing and Community Development, which merged with the Department of Economic Development to form DHECD.

Previously he worked as the Government Affairs Director for the Home Builders’ & Remodelers’ Association of Northern Vermont.

Sara Hoehn of Colchester has joined VHFA's Finance Department as Staff Accountant.

A native Vermonter, she was most recently Staff Accountant at Anderson, Johns & Yao CPAs PC in San Antonio, Texas. Before that she spent time as a Collector at Bank of America in Orono, Maine.
