Ninety-nine homes destroyed in last year's flooding have been approved for buyouts by the state, reported Vermont Public Radio this week. The approvals now await FEMA approval. The homes are located in 34 towns across Vermont.
HUD unveils new consolidated planning tools
The consolidated planning process required of states and communities that receive HUD funds just got easier. On Monday, HUD release its eCon Planning Suite, a streamlined set of electronic data and technology tools to help communities conduct the analyses needed to target funds to areas most in need.
Patrick DiMambro hired as staff accountant
Executive Director Sarah Carpenter announced Tuesday that Patrick DiMambro of Burlington has joined VHFA as Staff Accountant.
Patrick is a recent graduate of Champlain College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in accounting. Besides being one of Champlain’s top accounting graduates, Patrick also served as Director of Finance for the Champlain student government association.
