As in past years, we're providing you with a memo, instructions and an Excel worksheet — the Form 805. There're also updated documents for mobile home parks — the Form 905.

Central Vermont Community Land Trust (CVCLT) has extended the deadline for its 2008 Mini-Grants for Central Vermont to Sept. 12.

These grants will range from $500 to $1,000 and will go to community groups or town committees in towns and cities of Washington County and northern Orange County that are working to develop housing-related projects.

We've completed our RFP process to select a firm or firms to provide VHFA with financial advisory services.

VHFA has selected Piper Jaffray, our current financial advisor, to continue in its role as the Agency's General Financial Advisor and Swap Advisor.

We've posted descriptions for the 18 workshops of the 2008 Vermont Statewide Housing Conference, and have started posting speaker bios as they roll in.

The conference is Vermont's premiere housing event, coming around every two years. This year's event will be Tuesday, Nov. 18 at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel & Conference Center in South Burlington.
