Tufts University graduate student Tin Skoric has been named the Spring 2025 Vermont Housing Fellow. The Vermont Housing Fellowship program is intended to provide the Fellow with valuable experience aiding their professional development. Mr. Skoric will receive a financial stipend to develop visualizations and data analysis regarding Vermont’s ever-changing housing market and the affordability of Vermont homes.

Mr. Skoric is pursuing an M.S. in economics at Tufts. He has an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Vermont where in addition to his course work, he worked on the development of the Vermont Zoning Atlas. As a zoning code analyst, Tin analyzed zoning data to create 3D animations, interactive dashboards, and other visualizations. He also helped develop tools to observe differences in zoning bylaws by jurisdiction.
The goal of the Vermont Housing Fellow program is to cultivate interest among graduate students in Vermont-based affordable housing careers with a specific goal of growing the diversity of experiences and perspectives used when thinking about housing needs. The program provides students in Vermont and beyond with the opportunity to relate knowledge gained in the classroom to practical, real-world settings. The Agency plans to appoint a new student to the fellowship each semester.
VHFA is currently accepting applications for the fellowship for the Summer 2025. Please contact VHFA’s Human Resources Department ([email protected]) for more information.
