Otis Atwell is our newest Premiere level sponsor of the 2018 Vermont Statewide Housing Conference. The conference will be held on November 13th and 14th at the Hilton Burlington.
Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA), located in Burlington VT, is seeking an Executive Director who will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the Agency and as such directs and administers all programs, operations, and activities, and oversees the organization of the staff and departments.
The Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) of Boston is coming to Burlington to host a training on the Affordable Housing Program on June 26th. This training is important for any developer or lender who is planning to apply for AHP funds in 2018 or in the future. It will be held at Hotel Vermont (41 Cherry Street, Burlington) from 8:30 to noon.

Attention lenders and affordable housing developers: The 2018 AHP is coming!
In January, Vermont Housing Finance Agency was instrumental in the sale of nearly $37 million in Vermont Property Transfer Tax Revenue Bonds. Proceeds from these bonds, sold as sustainability bonds due to their intended use, support the Housing for All initiative to construct and preserve affordable housing across Vermont.
Elm Place, an apartment building in Milton that was developed with support from Vermont Housing Finance Agency, won three national awards for its use of energy efficient design. The project was developed and is managed by Cathedral Square.
Residents of Windy Hollow Cooperative in Castleton are celebrating the successful purchase of their mobile home park, which was assisted by Vermont Housing Finance Agency. The creation of the housing co-op will help retain affordable homes for 44 households.
