The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will be closed on Friday, June 14. The closure is a result of government-wide automatic spending cuts that took effect on March 1, 2013. HUD will resume normal operation on Monday, June 17.
According to HUD, a total of seven of these furlough days will to be paired with holidays & weekends to ease impact.
