Burlington Co-Housing East Village (pictured) and other Vermont co-housing developments are written up in this month's issue of Champlain Business Journal.
In an article titled "Seniors seek alternatives to traditional living arrangements," Joy Perrino Choquette writes of a 2008 study conducted by Fiona Patterson, a resident of East Village, that looked at the benefits of co-housing for senior residents.
Patterson's study concluded that the social aspect of community living might be the biggest benefit for seniors.
