Krista Malaney (she/her) is VHFA’s Public Relations Manager. An experienced communications strategist, Krista's broad understanding of interdisciplinary communications and the non-profit world allows a nuanced approach to the development and dissemination of multimedia communications connecting diverse stakeholders to mission-driven programs that drive outcomes forward. As a communications leader in non-profit healthcare, human services, higher education, HR, and finance, her efforts have earned national recognition from the College & University Professionals Association (CUPA-HR), Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP), National Wellness Institute, and other national and local organizations. Krista has a master's degree in interdisciplinary education and leadership from the University of Vermont and bachelor's degree in journalism from Saint Michael's College.
