Vermont’s Mortgage Assistance Program helped homeowners who fell behind on their mortgage and faced economic hardship brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program provided grants for up to 12 monthly mortgage payments directly to the servicer of the mortgage with a goal of preventing future foreclosure.
