Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) is recruiting for a Mortgage Assistance Application Specialist and Mortgage Assistance Servicer Confirmation Specialist to support VHFA’s Mortgage Assistance Program (MAP). These are full time but temporary positions. Funding for this program is secure through December 2024, at which point these positions will end.

With difficulties mounting for home builders across the country, Vermont’s new home prices have started increasing at a faster pace. After several years of minimal growth, the median new primary home sold for $388,000 in Vermont in 2020, up $22,000 from the prior year, according to Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data.
