The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) will receive nearly $1 million in the form is a Sustainable Communities Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD).

Shelley Poticha, Director of HUD's Office of Sustainable Housing and Communities Department, notifed CCRPC Executive Director Charles Baker of the grant decision last week.

At the center of the investigation is "robo-signing," when mortgage service employees with no knowledge of a particular case sign foreclosure documents.
