The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recognized Vermont with two "Door Knocker" awards for outstanding work in producing affordable housing.

We've added a dozen photos to the property listing for 41 Country Way, Barre, the latest home to come through the Housing Acquisition & Rehabilitation Program (HARP), where VHFA acquires foreclosed properties from banks, renovates them, and resells them to income-eligible Vermonters.

The home is priced at $100,000, after a $75,000 grant.

Sherri Mullin and Robin Howe were the final winners in VHFA’s “Five-Week Wellness Challenge.”

Sherri was selected at random from all staff members who participated in Week #5 of the challenge to receive a gift certificate from Healthy Living. Robin was our grand prize winner, getting a day off. (Use it wisely, Robin — at least three hours of cardio.)
