1. Health Impact Assessment: Options and Opportunites in Vermont
Representatives from the Vermont Department of Economic, Housing, and Community Development answered questions from Windham county residents and business owners last night at the Latchis Theater in Brattleboro. This meeting marked the first of three public hearings on the state's plan to distribute $21.7 million in federal Community Development Block Grant disaster recovery funds.
We expect that five Vermont housing Web sites — Vermont Housing Data, the Vermont Housing Managers Association's site, Vermont Rental Codes, the Vermont Resident Services Coordinators site, and the Vermont Housing Awareness site-- might be occasionally offline this week.
We're doing some work on our Web servers, but hope to keep the down time as short as possible.
The Vermont Interfaith Action is sponsoring a workshop this Thurday. Learn how to find out what your town’s regulations are governing the building of affordable housing. Discover which regulations help to increase affordable housing, and which ones hinder it.
5:15 pm to 7:30 pm
College Street Congregational Church, Perkins Room
