Both events signify a step in the right direction in making Vermont’s goal to increase affordable housing a reality statewide.

VHFA joined housing partners and residents on September 8 to celebrate the completion of Butternut Grove Condominiums in the heart of Winooski. Developed by Champlain Housing Trust (CHT), the newly constructed building offers 20 shared equity homes starting at $143,500 for a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath unit and up to $184,500 for a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath unit.
Ribbon-cutting celebrated for River Bend in Stowe
VHFA joined housing partners in Stowe this week to celebrate the completion of Phase 1 of the River Bend Apartments project. The first phase of the project, developed by Lamoille Housing Partnership and Evernorth, includes nine newly constructed affordable apartments on Maple Street in Stowe.
Groundbreaking celebrated at Stuart Avenue in Colchester
Last week, VHFA joined Governor Scott and housing partners in Colchester for a groundbreaking ceremony at Stuart Avenue Apartments. The project, developed by Champlain Housing Trust (CHT) and Evernorth, will create 36 new apartments as part of the Sunderland Farms master development at Severance Corners. The project will receive the majority of its funding from federal credits awarded by VHFA.
