Don't miss the chance to register for the November 14th Vermont Statewide Housing Conference. The last day to register on-line is Thursday, November 7th.
This in-person conference, held every two years the week after the national election, is Vermont's largest convening of affordable housing professionals and advocates. Drawing 400+ attendees in recent years, it has become a much anticipated opportunity to network, learn and act.
The conference will feature keynote speaker Heather McGhee, author of the critically-acclaimed book The Sum of Us, whose appearance at the conference is sponsored by Federal Housing Loan Bank of Boston. Seventeen break-out sessions will provide opportunities for interactive learning and discussing today's pressing topics, such as overcoming housing challenges in flood-prone areas and Vermont's new zoning atlas. The conference will also recognize a new Vermont Housing Hero whose leadership, vision and actions have brought about positive and lasting change in meeting Vermont’s housing needs.
