Construction was completed this summer on 25 family apartments and 24 senior apartments at Hawk’s Meadow in Essex, and was quick to lease up. A celebratory open house was held on October 4, 2012.
The development was planned and constructed by Dousevicz Inc., and is managed by E.P. Management.
VHFA provided federal Housing Tax Credits, which covered approximately 40% of the project’s cost.
The construction incorporated many energy efficiency and green features, including domestic solar hot water.
