TJ Poor is the Director Regulated Planning for the Vermont Department of Public Service. TJ Poor is the Director Regulated Utility Planning at the Vermont Department of Public Service, which plays a dual role as Vermont’s State Energy Office and Vermont’s ratepayer advocate in matters before its Public Utilities Commission.  In his role at the Department, TJ oversees development of the State’s Comprehensive Energy Plan, as well as development and implementation of the State’s transformational energy policies from the Renewable Energy Standard to efficiency and electrification policies and programs. TJ has spent nearly two decades working to improve energy services for Vermonters through various roles within and outside of state government, including time managing regulation of Efficiency Vermont and managing power supply portfolios for municipal utilities in New England.
