2024 Vermont Statewide Housing Conference Speaker

Jessica Guardado, LICSW, LADC. Healthworks ACT Steer Committee Member; Director of Supportive Services at Groundworks Collaborative. Jessica became passionate about serving individuals struggling with homelessness when volunteering at a large shelter in college. Despite earning her undergraduate degree in Economics from Boston College, Guardado’s work with men and women struggling with homelessness and addiction in Boston and Chicago encouraged her to attain her Master’s in Social Work from Boston College. She has worked in a variety of settings from shelters, drop in centers, supportive housing, opiate treatment center, primary care, psychiatric and medical hospital care. Guardado has worked to provide compassionate and effective care without judgement to clients she is privileged to know over the last 20 years.
