Three Tomatoes Trattoria is holding a benefit for Champlain Housing Trust (CHT).

On Wednesday, Oct. 28, all four locations of the Italian eatery will donate $1 to CHT for each dinner entree sold.

Three Tomatoes can be found in Burlington, Rutland and Williston, Vt.; and Lebanon, N.H.

"We are fortunate to have such a generous community business like Three Tomatoes," said Chris Donnelly, CHT Director of Community Relations.

"I hope people get out and have a great meal next week, knowing that they're also supporting our affordable housing efforts."

Central Vermont Community Action Council will present "Button-Up Vermont," a home weatherization workshop conducted by trained energy auditors, tomorrow.

Residents will learn the fundamentals of energy loss in buildings and do-it-yourself opportunities for saving energy, including behavioral changes and low-cost weatherization measures.

Participants will receive educational material and contact information for energy efficiency services and lending institutions that offer low-interest loans.
