Robin Howe knows how to stretch a dollar. Howe, VHFA's Multifamily Operations Specialist, worked to turn a one dollar public relations campaign into a $2,590 gift to a homeless shelter in Brattleboro, Vermont.

VHFA is welcoming the official change of seasons this week with some spring cleaning.  This means that the www.vhfa.org and www.vhfa.net web sites will be down for scheduled maintenance beginning at noon Thursday.  

Calls fielded by Vermont 2-1-1 operators for emergency housing increased dramatically during January and February 2013.   Calls for housing and shelter assistance exceeded all other types of calls in February.
