Next week's Vermont Statewide Housing Conference will provide many opportunities to get your questions answered about how the election affects Vermont. Walk-in registration is available at the same initial low price so join us on November 14-15 at the Burlington Hilton.
A legislative breakfast reception on the 15th is devoted to connecting conference participants with at least 14 state legislators and staff from all 3 Vermont federal legislative offices. The winner of the Vermont governor's race has also been invited to speak at the conference.
The Common Rental Application for Housing in Vermont has been revised based on feedback from housing managers, applicant experiences and the state’s evolving information needs. The revised application was announced by Executive Director Sarah Carpenter last week at the annual conference of the Vermont Housing Managers Association.
Since it was first developed in 2011, the common rental application has been streamlining the process of applying for assisted rental housing in Vermont. All new rental housing receiving housing credit funding or loans from VHFA are automatically required to use the common rental application.
