In December of 2012, the Vermont Council on Homelessness approved Vermont’s Plan to End Homelessness. To make progress on the plan’s goal of expanding the capacity of programs to provide voluntary supportive servicese once households move into permanent housing, the Council is collecting information through on-line surveys from housing providers, clients, and tenants.
Less driving, more working from home among Vermonters
When compared to the rest of the country, Vermont has one of the highest rates of working from home, according to a recent report from U.S. PIRG. While the portion of Vermonters working from home increased, the state experienced a 15% decline in “vehicle miles traveled per person” since its peak year of 2003.
