Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) is recruiting for a Mortgage Assistance Application Specialist and Mortgage Assistance Servicer Confirmation Specialist to support VHFA’s Mortgage Assistance Program (MAP). These are full time but temporary positions. Funding for this program is secure through December 2024, at which point these positions will end.
The Mortgage Assistance Application Specialist will receive and enter applications for mortgage assistance benefits and follow up with applicants to obtain information and confirm eligibility. The Mortgage Assistance Servicer Confirmation Specialist will confirm and arrange for payment to mortgage loan servicers. Both positions will work with our partners and will act as a resource for public requests for information. VHFA is looking for individuals with exceptional communication and customer service skills.
