VHFA was so busy celebrating 50-years of success in 2024 that it missed announcing the hiring of two new, and highly valued, Asset Management and Compliance Officers! Please join VHFA in a belated welcome to Morgan Ledo and Brett Pickett.
Morgan Ledo joined VHFA as an Asset Management and Compliance Officer. Morgan has almost ten years of experience in the affordable housing industry and came to VHFA from the Burlington Housing Authority where she worked in the property management division. Prior to that she held a variety of roles in the Section 8 division at the Vermont State Housing Authority.
Brett Pickett also joined VHFA as an Asset Management and Compliance Officer. Prior to VHFA, Brett served as the Homeless Outreach Services Provider for Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) where he provided housing advocacy at the Elmwood Shelter. Prior to CVOEO, Brett worked at COTS and Spectrum. Brett holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Vermont.
Both Morgan and Brett work within the Community Development department at VHFA. They are responsible for monitoring the financial and physical wellbeing of multifamily rental housing projects within the VHFA portfolio. In addition, they serve as a resource for participating property managers to ensure they follow all program requirements. We are delighted to have them as part of the VHFA team.
