We've completed our latest update to the "Vermont housing data profiles" section of the Vermont Housing Data Web site.
We've added:
- Cost and volume of primary homes sold, 2009 (as of Dec. 31)
- HUD's 2010 Fair Market and median rent levels
- "Housing wage" affordability estimates for 2010
- Updated population, housing unit, and building permit estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau
- Updated median family adjusted gross income and property tax rate statistics from the Vermont Department of Taxes
- Updated labor force and unemployment rate information from the Vermont Department of Labor
The Vermont Housing Data site is created and maintained by VHFA and the Center for Rural Studies (CRS) at the University of Vermont with input and guidance from Vermont's housing community.
