Cathedral Square Corp. (CSC) in Burlington won a 2010 MetLife Foundation Award for Excellence in Affordable Housing.
Enterprise Community Partners Inc. and MetLife Foundation present the awards for best practices in green, service-enriched housing for low-income seniors.
CSC won for Cathedral Square Senior Living. Judges decided, "The 108-unit apartment building demonstrates a commitment to innovation, green building and a comprehensive array of support services for Burlington's low-income seniors."
CSC receives $50,000 in unrestricted grant funds to expand their work in affordable senior housing and will be recognized at the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging's annual conference in Los Angeles this fall.
They were one of only four winners nationwide.
