Nate Lantieri is the Housing Research Coordinator at Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) and a community organizer in Burlington, Vermont. Since moving to Vermont in 2015, he has embraced the state’s culture of community-mindedness and done what he can to create "freedom & unity" for all Vermonters. After graduating from UVM from the department of Community Development & Applied Economics (CDAE), he has worked (and volunteered) in various fields in support of social and economic justice, with a focus on supporting low-income Vermonters, particularly with housing. Projects have included community organizing in the state’s mobile home parks, launching a still-running free food distribution network during the pandemic, revitalizing a community park in Burlington, and publishing the most recent Vermont Statewide Housing Needs Assessment. He previously worked at CVOEO in two roles; as a voucher administrator during the pandemic, then as the Mobile Home Program resident organizer. He has also been a member of the Burlington Parks, Recreation, & Waterfront Commission since 2020.
