Dan Baker, Professor Emeritus at the University of Vermont. Dan's research has focused on the well-being of migrant dairy farmworkers for the past 20 years, with a scope that includes research interviewing dairy farmworkers and dairy farmers, following up that work with projects to address needs identified in that research.  For the past several years that has involved working to improve farmworker housing, address farm safety training, evaluate farmworker stress and assess the availability of mental health services for foreign-born workers. In addition to his farm housing work he has also been involved in research on mobile homes, including assessments of energy efficient mobile homes and disaster resilience of mobile homes. Dan is an Associate Professor of Community Development & Applied Economics Emeritus.
