The National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) is asking organizations to sign a letter to be sent to The National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform.
The letter urges the Commission to adopt the principle that lower income people should not be harmed by its recommendations, and emphasizes smart investments to help low income people will strengthen the economy and the nation.
In June, NLIHC joined more than 100 national organizations in signing the letter, which was organized by the Coalition on Human Needs.
