Central Vermont Community Land Trust (CVCLT) has extended the deadline for its 2008 Mini-Grants for Central Vermont to Sept. 12.

These grants will range from $500 to $1,000 and will go to community groups or town committees in towns and cities of Washington County and northern Orange County that are working to develop housing-related projects.

The conference is Vermont's premiere housing event, coming around every two years. This year's event will be Tuesday, Nov. 18 at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel & Conference Center in South Burlington.
