Conference workshops filling up
Registrations for the Nov. 18 Vermont Statewide Housing Conference continue to roll in.
We expect two workshops will reach capacity today: "What Lies Ahead for Vermont's Housing Economy" and "State Housing Policy Highlights" both have only a seat or two still open.
Maura Collins talks housing at Norwich University
VHFA Policy & Planning Manager Maura Collins is speaking today to a State and Local Politics class at Norwich University.
She'll address approximately 20 upper-level students on the Northfield campus on the topic of state and local housing policy.
CCRPC, VHFA on Channel 17
VHFA Executive Director Sarah Carpenter will join Charlie Baker, Executive Director of the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC), and others on Channel 17 next Thursday.
They'll be speaking about the recently announced $995,000 Sustainable Communities Grant CCRPC was awarded by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). VHFA is a partner in the grant.
