The Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS) is holding its annual phonathon through Dec. 10 to raise money to fight homelessness in Vermont.

If you'd like to volunteer to help, they have a number of different opportunities available.

In a couple weeks, VHFA staff will take part in the Agency's long tradition of "mitten stuffing," to benefit our neighbors at the King Street Youth Center.

Staff donate mittens, gloves, scarves and hats, and fill them with candy before giving them to the kids who attend the center.

If you'd like to donate some items, feel free to bring them by during business hours before Dec. 12, and we'll add them to the pile.

And if you have any idea how we're supposed to "stuff" a scarf with candy, please let us know.
