The Vermont Business Emergency Gap Assistance Program (BEGAP) opening today can assist a variety of small businesses impacted by July flooding, including landlords. Landlords may receive assistance up to $20,000 for up to three properties. Properties with extensive damage may qualify for up to $100,000.

Alexis Carpenter (she/her) of Morgan has joined VHFA in the role of Director of Human Resources and Administration.
Carpenter has nine years of experience working for RDI Corporation in Newport in a series of progressively more advanced roles, most recently as Director of Site Operations. She is also the founder and CEO of Raising Hope, LLC, specializing in organizational culture design and team development.
