VHFA staff gathered in the Board Room this afternoon to say good-bye to Kristina McCormack.
Kris will wrap up her tenure as an Administrative Assistant in the Agency's Homeownership Department tomorrow.
In classic VHFA style, we gave her a sugary sendoff by collectively devouring this layer cake.
Luckily, the cake also sat still for a portrait before cutting, since Kris is the only staffer to successfully negotiate her way out of a Housing Matters farewell photo opp.

Our friends at the Vermont Center for Independent Living (VCIL) in Montpelier have named Sarah Wendell Launderville (right) Executive Director of the organization.
Sarah started at the center in 1997, and is currently Home and Community Access Program Manager.
She becomes Executive Director on April 1 when she replaces Deborah Lisi-Baker (left), who's directed the center for 10 years.
Deborah's retiring from her position, but plans to remain active in disability rights by teaching and consulting.
