A consortium of federal agencies recently released a guide entitled New Federal Resources for Sustainable Rural Communities. 

Governor Shumlin helped Montpelier and housing community members recognize the achievements of all involved with the renovations of the 58 Barre Street building yesterday.

Despite improvements in many indicators of child welfare such as the infant mortality rate and the preterm birth rate, a recent compilation of national statistics  shows a dramatic increase in housing cost burden in the past decade among families with children.
