Several media outlets covered yesterday's release of the "Between a Rock and a Hard Place: Housing and Wages in Vermont" report:
CNN: National housing shortage
Those of us working in housing in Vermont know there's been an ongoing shortage of housing — especially affordable housing — in our state. CNNMoney published a piece today questioning the possibility of a national shortage.
"The nation is simply not building enough homes to keep up with potential demand," Les Christie writes.
Nicolas Retsinas, Director of Harvard's Joint Center for Housing Studies and the keynote speaker at Vermont's Statewide Housing Conference a few years ago, is quoted in the piece.
