We updated hundreds of estimates pertaining to the housing in Vermont’s communities on the Vermont Housing Data website last week. Many of these estimates originate from the Census Bureau’s annual American Community Survey.

Vermont among most expensive states for renters
The amount of income needed to afford a modest apartment puts Vermont among the most expensive states in the country, according to today’s Out of Reach 2015 report, jointly released by the National Low Income Housing Coalition and the Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition.
