The Housing Acquisition & Rehabilitation Program (HARP), administered by VHFA, is helping income-qualified home buyers participate in Vermont’s current favorable home buying market, according to this week’s Times Argus*.
More Vermonters will be able to purchase homes using VHFA's mortgage programs thanks to newly increased income and purchase price limits put in place on November 1st, 2013.
In December of 2012, the Vermont Council on Homelessness approved Vermont’s Plan to End Homelessness. To make progress on the plan’s goal of expanding the capacity of programs to provide voluntary supportive servicese once households move into permanent housing, the Council is collecting information through on-line surveys from housing providers, clients, and tenants.
The West River Valley senior housing complex Townshend opened a newly-constructed wing of the assisted living building for twelve additional Vermont households. These new apartments offer the flexibility of independent living with a supportive array of in-house services.
