Last Thursday VHFA held its annual Health Awareness Day, an opportunity for staff members to take part in a variety of health and wellness activities.
Our grand prize winner, for registering for and attending two sessions, was Loan Servicing Specialist Carolynn Mossey. Carolynn won a gift certificate to Healthy Living Natural Foods in South Burlington.
Winner of the pot luck lunch drawing was Staff Accountant Ashley Lamell, who won 7.5 hours of combined time off ... better known as a "vacation day."
Vermont Housing & Conservation Board Executive Director Gus Seelig wrote a piece that recently appeared in The Burlington Free Press congratulating the Champlain Housing Trust for winning a U.N.-HABITAT-sponsored World Habitat Award.
Gus is also a member of VHFA's Board of Commissioners.
VHFA is hosting its annual Health Awareness Day today.
The day-long event is a chance for employees to participate in health screenings and workshops, visit with a variety of health-related vendors, and enjoy a healthy breakfast and lunch.
