The Algiers Village redevelopment project in Guilford was recently selected as a winner of the national Phoenix Award. This award honors the team of dedicated Vermont partners who led the transformation of a rural village that had fallen into disrepair and become contaminated by petroleum.
Governor Shumlin, VHFA’s Sarah Carpenter and many others gathered yesterday to celebrate the opening of South Main Apartments in Waterbury.
There were smiles a plenty in Putney Thursday as the community celebrated the renovation of the historic Plantz house at 27 Old Depot Road. The apartments will be managed by Windham and Windsor Housing Trust who oversaw the renovation process.
